Comprehensive Roulette Strategy |
|
 |
Even if roulette is not a more recent game, it still requires using strategies. There are many suggestions on how to defeat a roulette table, but all players must not forget the words of one of the most intelligent men on the planet, Albert Einstein: “You cannot beat a roulette table unless you steal money from it.”
Roulette strategy is nothing like other gambling methods. In blackjack for example you have a counting cards strategy. The story in roulette is very different. The most important thing to remember is that roulette is a game of chance and no human or device can forecast where the ball will stop.
For this reason, there is no method which can improve your chances at all times; it can only improve your odds of winning more and losing less.
Roulette Strategy Guides
Roulette is a random numbers game. This means that you cannot calculate where the ball will land or whether the likelihood of a similar number turning up is the same as that of any other number. At this point, we will describe the fundamental ideas to help better your chances of winning at roulette.
1. The first technique is to play European roulette because it has higher odds than American roulette (2.7% to 5.26%). This increases your probability of winning each bet.
2. Next, find the “Surrender” rule which entitles you to take back one half of your bet on even number bets (high/low, red/back, odd/even) if the ball rests on 0 or 00. This rule is used in several casinos in Atlantic City.
3. You may use the “En Prison” rule if possible. This rule lets you recover your bet if the ball lands on 0. If you place a bet and the ball settles on 0, you keep the bet and you are allowed another spin. If you win on that spin, your money will be given back. If the ball lands on a number other than zero, you lose your bet.
These are the essential factors to remember in roulette strategy, which do not cover betting restrictions and money management. If you want to organize your game play better, you can employ the more widely accepted betting systems such as Martingale, Labouchere, and D’Alambert.
Standard Bet Systems
Roulette players can employ the more traditional betting pattern strategies. These systems about betting, managing the player’s bankroll, and configuring game play, can be used in all casino games. Also study roulette cheating and scamming tricks.
Martingale System
This system involves betting on even-money outside roulette bets. If the player loses on his first bet, he doubles his wager on the subsequent spin. The disadvantage of this system is that the player can lose successively and the size of the bet goes up rapidly.
Labouchere System
In the Labouchere or cancellation system, the player jots down a string of numbers and bets on the sum of the first and last numbers in that series. Cross out those numbers if you win. If you lost, the total of the bet is added at the end of the number sequence.
D’Alembert System
The D’Alembert system, like the Martingale, is used mainly on even-money outside bets. The principal idea behind it is adding one unit to the following bet after every loss and then deducting one unit from next bet after each win. The reverse D’Alembert system deals with winning streaks.
Inside Bet System
This is an inside betting system. Its basis is that numbers that have not turned up for quite a while are bound to appear shortly. However, you can only use this for “long-term” play which can take several thousand roulette spins.
Roulette Cheats
Roulette tricks are used to defeat the casino as blackjack tactics are used to defeat the dealer and win blackjack games. Some of the roulette tricks are disputable since they are merely conjecture while others are not legal. A few of these cheating techniques are past posting, top hatting, ball tripping, dealer’s signature, etc.
